According to a source, the Jets released starting guard Brandon Moore Thursday the sixth veteran cut by the Jets this offseason.
Moore was set to collect a $7 million roster bonus and couldn't reach agreement with the Jets on a restructured contract.
Since Ryan, the former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator, was hired by the Jets in January, New York has also cut TE Chris Baker, DB David Barrett, LB David Bowens, WR Laveranues Coles and LB Brad Kassell. In addition to the retirement of QB Brett Favre, the Jets have cleared more than $20 million in cap space entering free agency.
Moore, a six-year veteran, was a five-year starter on New York's offensive line from 2004-08, starting 73 consecutive games for the Jets.
