Baltimore Ravens News

Tony Romo is back for the Dallas Cowboys, and just in time. The quarterback missed their past three games with a broken pinkie on his (right) throwing hand. The Cowboys scored a grand total of 41 points without him. Instead of building on a 3-0 start's promise, the Cowboys have gone 2-4. Who can argue when Terrell Owens says he's been under-used? He's been the team's leading receiver only once in nine games. The Cowboys say they can recover before it's too late, perhaps making today's game in Washington a must-win.

Ravens at Giants

* 1 p.m.

If unbeaten Tennessee doesn't emerge as the AFC champion, Baltimore (6-3) is a good candidate. As such, this could be as much a Super Bowl XLIII preview as it is a Super Bowl XXXV rematch. The defending champion Giants (8-1) have the best rushing attack, while the Ravens have the best rushing defense. Something has to give.

Raiders at Dolphins

* 1 p.m.

This is one of the storied rivalries from the 1970s. The two teams have been in recent disarray. At least the Dolphins (5-4) show signs of returning to form, while it remains a mystery just what the Raiders (2-7) are trying to do. JaMarcus Russell (knee) sat out last week's loss to the Panthers and might be forced to sit this week, too.

Titans at Jaguars

* 4:15 p.m.

It's a rematch of the season opener, except it's in Jacksonville. The Titans (9-0) have a league-leading defense, allowing 13 points a game. Last time they played, the Jaguars (5-4) got only 33 rushing yards in a 17-10 loss in Nashville. Being the league's last unbeaten team, the Titans must beware of the bull's-eye they wear.

Cowboys at Redskins

* 8:15 p.m.

Santana Moss has 25 catches in his past three games against the Cowboys (5-4). But QB Jason Campbell has to remain on his feet to get Moss the ball, and suffering seven sacks --- as he did in a loss to the Steelers last week --- won't cut it. The Redskins (6-3) have beaten Dallas three times in a row at home and won 26-24 in Dallas in Week 4.

Game; Comment

Lions at Panthers; Panthers QB Jake Delhomme must forget last week's career-low passer rating of 12.3.

Eagles at Bengals; The Eagles need Brian Westbrook more involved than he was in last week's loss (13 carries).

Saints at Chiefs; Saints QB Drew Brees is on track to pass Dan Marino's single-season record (5,084 yards).

Vikings at Buccaneers; Bucs RB Cadillac Williams might see a little playing time after a nasty Week 4 knee injury.

Bears at Packers; The Pack is likely to try to pass, while the Bears look to exploit a porous run defense.

Texans at Colts; No way the Texans can win with Sage Rosenfels throwing four interceptions like last week.

Rams at 49ers; Two Rams coaches have benched QB Mark Bulger, though Jim Haslett says it's just temporary.

Cardinals at Seahawks; Will the Seahawks be able to contain the NFL's highest-scoring offense?

Chargers at Steelers; Willie Parker returns from injury for the Steelers, but the Chargers wonder where LT's game is.

Browns at Bills (Monday); Despite a loss to Denver last week, the Browns saw potential in QB Brady Quinn's first start.
