Expect Addai to come alive in final weeks

Expect Addai to come alive in final weeks
Coming into the season, Colts RB Joseph Addai was considered one of the top 10 backs in fantasy Football. Up until last week he was a huge disappointment.

Entering Week 11, his highest rushing output was 78 yards, which came back in Week 3 against Jacksonville.

He earned a small measure of redemption from his owners, if they played him, last week by rushing for 105 yards and a TD against the Texans.

Looking ahead on the Colts' schedule, Addai should be a lock in your starting lineup for the rest of the short fantasy season. He faces San Diego this week, followed by Cleveland, Cincinnati and Detroit -- all defenses giving up well over 100 yards rushing per game.

The odds are good Addai will turn into a fantasy stud the rest of the way.

Another RB who had high expectations entering the season was Green Bay's Ryan Grant. He, like Addai, has been a big disappointment. Grant only had one 100-yard rushing performance and two TDs entering last week.

He also should be in your lineup this week against a Saints defense giving up 110 rushing yards per game.

Patriots QB Matt Cassel found himself atop the leaderboard after throwing for 400 yards and three TDs against the Jets last week. New England has a chance to avenge its embarrassing loss at home earlier in the year to the Dolphins.

Expect the Patriots to throw the ball early and often against an average Miami secondary. This should mean another solid performance by Cassel.

Tonight's game has the Bengals traveling to Pittsburgh. This should have owners of Steelers RB Willie Parker licking their chops.

Expect the Steelers to feed Parker the ball a lot against a Cincy defense giving up just over 130 yards rushing per game.

The Chicago Bears have the luxury of facing the St . Louis Rams this week. Bears QB Kyle Orton and RB Matt Forte should get strong consideration for playing time, even after a bad week last week against the Packers.

Another no-brainer matchup is Denver hosting Oakland. Denver QB Jay Cutler should have a field day picking apart the Raiders' secondary. That also means huge performances for WRs Eddie Royal and Brandon Marshall.

STUD OF THE WEEK

We're going to have to make this studs this week. Cardinals WRs Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald share the honor.

Boldin caught 13 balls for 186 yards and Fitzgerald caught 10 passes for 151 yards. With the way QB Kurt Warner is throwing the ball, these two are obvious must-starts every week.

DUD OF THE WEEK

The Eagles are turning RB Brian Westbrook into a dud. Against a bad Bengals rush defense, he ran for 60 yards on 14 carries. Things don't look better for Westbrook owners this week against the Ravens.

START 'EM

Bills QB Trent Edwards will rebound nicely from a poor perfomance against the Browns. He should have no problem throwing the ball against the Chiefs.

SIT 'EM

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb will continue his struggles against a Ravens defense that will blitz any chance they can get. It should be another long day for McNabb.
