ED ZIERALSKI'S NFL PICKS

ED ZIERALSKI'S NFL PICKS
Chargers plus 5 vs. Steelers: Steelers banged up (QB Ben Roethlisberger and RB Willie Parker both dinged); Bolts healthy, need it. Red-flag warning: Chargers 0-12 in regular season in Steel City.

Falcons minus 6 vs. Broncos: Denver run game reduced to recycled RB Tatum Bell, while Falcons, 4-0 at home this year, get Broncos QB Jay Cutler after breaking up 15 Drew Brees tosses and picking three.

Dolphins minus 10 1/2 vs. Raiders: Dolphins RB Ricky Williams hitting stride, and Raiders in complete meltdown.

Ravens plus 7 vs. Giants: New Yorkers deserve letdown after wins over Steelers-Cowboys-Eagles. Ravens, 3-0 vs. Giants, bring hot rookie QB Joe Flacco (no picks in past four games) and LB Ray Lewis and Co. (No. 1 vs. run in league).

Colts minus 8 vs. Texans: Can't back QB Sage Rosenfels. Colts, 12-1 vs. Texans, beat Patriots and Steelers after taking Titans to last ticks.

JAGUARS plus 2 1/2 vs. Titans: Titans have won three of past four vs. Jags, with last a 17-10 win in September, but Jags respond to coach's whip and find a good spot to whack the unbeaten.

PACKERS pick vs. Bears: Both coming off tough losses, but like Pack QB Aaron Rodgers over Bears QB Rex Grossman if Kyle Orton can't go.

Bengals plus 9 vs. Eagles: Philly coming off tough loss to Giants, and Bengals, off a bye week, have shown they can get up for some games. Why not?

Chiefs plus 5 vs. Saints: Both teams going nowhere, but Saints are super soft, while young Chiefs play hard.

Panthers minus 14 vs. Lions: Jake Delhomme had horrible game (four picks) last week at Oakland, but won. He plays better and Panthers blow out this sorry Arena team with QB Daunte Culpepper slingin' it.

BUCS minus 3 1/2 vs. Vikings: Bucs, 4-0 at home this season, have won seven of eight vs. Vikes in Tampa and may roll out vintage RB Carnell "Cadillac" Williams. Bucs D handles Vikes RB Adrian Peterson and QB Gus Frerotte's wounded mallards.

49ERS minus 6 1/2 vs. Rams: Early Turkey Game. Rams are as bad as we thought they were.

SEAHAWKS pick vs. Cardinals: QB Matt Hasselbeck owns the Cardinals and is set to return for 'Hawks, who have won five of seven vs. Cards, including 42-21 last year. Cards have lock on division but looked vulnerable vs. lowly Niners.

Cowboys minus 2 vs. REDSKINS: Both teams rested, motivated, but sliding 'Skins may be without RB Clinton Portis and have discovered turnover button (none in first five, seven in last four). 'Boys QB Tony Romo has too many weapons.

Browns plus 5 vs. Bills: Browns, with another Prime Time chance to show they are really not quitters, beat Bills 8-0 in snowstorm last year in Cleveland. This just in, snow forecast for Buffalo, a white Monday Nighter. Last week: 6-8. Season: 33-47-4.
