The Ravens' Sunday game against the Jaguars has been rescheduled to 4:15 p.m. EST.

As a result, Baltimore could clinch a playoff spot before kickoff.

The Ravens would receive the sixth and final AFC wild-card spot if the New England Patriots lose at the Buffalo Bills in a 1 p.m. game.

Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said Monday that the team would want to earn the playoff berth on the field rather getting handed the spot.

"I think we want to win the game," Harbaugh said. "You look at our guys and our football team, I don't know that we're the type of team that's going to want to go out there and not win a football game no matter what's at stake. It just so happens that we expect everything to be at stake.

"So we need to go win the football game. If it turns out that not as much is at stake, I'm pretty sure our guys are going to try and go win the football game. That's just the personality of our team."

Even if the Patriots lose, it would be tough for the Ravens to sit their injured players.

According to Harbaugh, he has to announce his inactive players 90 minutes before the game. That means the New England-Buffalo game would only be at halftime.

"We're not going to know the outcome of that game when we decide who is going to be up and who is going to be active," Harbaugh said. "Our approach is going to have to be: We assume that game has to be won to get to the playoffs."

Harbaugh has also announced a change in the Ravens' practice schedule.

He spoke with his veteran players and determined that he would give players off on Christmas.

Because the Ravens played on Saturday, they had two days of preparation and decided to move their practices on Wednesday and Thursday to Tuesday and Wednesday.

"There are concerns among coaches and among players about any kind of change," Harbaugh said. "We're definitely creatures of habit. We just felt like the value of getting people with their families overrode that."
