MOVING ON?: With all of the coaching changes, defensive coordinator Rex Ryan's name has popped up. After last season, he interviewed with the Ravens, Falcons and Dolphins. Ryan, above, recently talked with coach John Harbaugh about it. "Rex Ryan is going to be a great head coach in the NFL," Harbaugh said. "He's got all the talent, all the ability to do it. I'm hoping Rex Ryan is here for many, many years to come. And maybe that's been part of our conversation."
INSPIRATION: O.J. Brigance, the director of player development who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), has inspired the Ravens just by coming to work every day. And before the season, he delivered a message of overcoming adversity to them. "No one has beaten this thing, but I am going to be the one who does," Brigance told them, according to the Baltimore Sun. "They're going to find a cure."
TURN OF EVENTS: One of the biggest keys to improving from 5-11 to 11-5 was turnover margin. Baltimore went from minus-17, worst in the NFL, to plus-13, third in the NFL. The swing of 30 is the biggest in NFL history.
